There’s a saying in financial trading, “Follow the Money.”
They use that term to help guide their decision-making in the markets. The idea is that by keeping track of the flow of money, traders can identify where the market is moving and make informed investment decisions.
Using that example:
It’s clear to see the trend for AI now and out into the future.
The big two tech firms, Google and Microsoft have invested $300 million and $10 billion respectively into AI tech and OpenAI (the founding company behind ChatGPT), and — since the release of ChatGPT — are scrambling for ways to integrate a similar feature into their search engine(s).
So, the trend is clear.
Chatbots (AI) are here to stay.
And I hope that inspires you to reap their benefits NOW…
And not wait until your competitors get ahead.
If you embrace AI, you’ll enjoy many positive effects on productivity as a self-publisher, author or creator of any kind.
Those who don’t will kick themselves later.
Come 2025, when much of our daily lives include AI automation, you’ll only wish you knew the ins and outs of ChatGPT sooner.
Anyhow…
Before I introduce you to the bigger picture, the best practices and all the other goodies awaiting you in this free mini-course…
I want to “set the scene” towards this new innovation.
It’s clear that many people are scared of change.
Especially the job loss it can bring.
So, let’s kick this off with a little ‘ol story, to calm the nerves.
And inspire you to take this journey with me.
Meet Joe —

In the year 1882, Joe worked tirelessly every day.
His calloused hands would tend to the earth, planting and nurturing the crops that fed his family and local community for decades. He relied upon his trusty horses to aid in his labour; the sound of their hooves and the creaking of his plough, the symphony of his workday.
But then, one day, came a curious arrival for Joe.
A contraption with metal wheels and a growling engine.
It was called a “tractor”—and it promised to alter the landscape of farming forever.
Joe, having ploughed his fields for 40 years, was sceptical.
Unable to envision how this machine could ever replace the grit and determination of a farmer and his beasts, deciding instead to observe from afar.
Over time, he was stunned at the abundance of food they could produce; the fields yielding more than ever before. The increase in crops caused food prices to drop, offering sustenance to those who couldn’t afford it before.
But as the tractors rolled in, Joe also noticed that many farmers were losing their jobs.
The horses they once relied upon were now redundant, and it paid machine operators a wage much lower than what the farmers were used to. Joe feared for his own future, worried he wouldn’t be able to provide for his family.
But the story of the tractor was not just one of loss.
But also creation.
The efficiency of the machines birthed new jobs, such as tractor mechanics, agricultural engineers, and farm managers. These jobs demanded new skills and training, but they were well-paying and offered a path for those who had lost their livelihood.
Enter 2023.
Today, a similar tale is unfolding with AI (and “ChatGPT”)
Just as the tractor disrupted traditional farming methods, AI is now disrupting industries and transforming the job market. But just like the tractor, it is not just taking away jobs; it is creating them as well.
Data science, machine learning, and AI development are just a few of the fields that are flourishing because of AI. And like the tractor, AI offers new opportunities for those with the proper skills and training.
Thus, the story of the tractor and AI reminds us that any innovation—no matter how disruptive—can both take; and give. It is up to us to face the change…
Adapt, and thrive in our rapidly dynamic world…
Let’s take the journey together…
As I give you a glimpse into the potential this holds for you in your daily workflow as an author, self-publisher or business owner.
